Sprout
Children with autism can achieve sensory stimulation and sensory familiarity through the toys in the product, combining smell, vision, and touch to facilitate interaction with veggies and fruits, which was created to address restrictive eating in autism. When children with autism are facing rejected vegetables and fruits, SPROUT can help them relax while guiding them to subjectively explore food.
This is an interactive project I spent two years creating. During this time, I stayed in touch with many families of children with autism and continue to connect with them to understand their struggles.I wanted to use whatever small ability I have to help improve their situation, which led to the creation of this product. Even though my efforts may be small, if this project can help people better understand this group and improve their lives, I would be very grateful for the time you’ve taken to watch and learn about it. ：）
